Strip Header
Strip Header is an option under the Import menu in Spectrum Editor. If you choose this option, an input window will open and prompt you to enter the number of lines to strip. This value will then be used by MSC when a file is imported. For example, if you enter 6, then the first six lines of the file will be ignored, and actual data entry will begin with the seventh line of the file when it is read. You can determine whether you need to strip header lines, and how many lines to strip, by using the Peek option.
