Copy Structure - Main Menu

Copy is an option under the Edit Menu. Select this option to copy the current contents of the drawing region to the Windows clipboard, as a bitmap, a MOLfile or a SMILES string. The bitmap can then be pasted into Word or other programs that accept bitmaps. If you want to transfer a structure to another program that works with MOLfiles then you can use this option to place the MOLfile on the clipboard. Note that MSC can also save MOLfiles directly by choosing that format under File / Save.

   MSC Pro is a calculator tool, not a drawing program. The default structures can be rather ugly and are useful only for analysis. Consequently, if you want to print a structure you have drawn in MSC Pro we would recommend
   using EDIT/Clean and then copying it and pasting it into Word or some other program that will accept clipboard bitmaps and allow additional resizing, etc.

Copy Spectrum - Spectrum Menu

Selecting Copy in Spectrum will copy the current spectrum to the clipboard. As with structures, the file can then be pasted into graphics programs, Word, etc.    Both structures and spectra can then be further re sized as needed within Word.
