Region Fragmentation
This is an additional optional manual fragmentation method. Region fragmentation might be used when neither linear nor box fragmentation can provide the desired results, and for other unusual cases such as evaluating the loss of multiple, non-contiguous structures. To use region fragmentation, select the Region Fragment option button from the Toolbar. Region fragmentation allows you to draw a free-form perimeter around the region of interest, and, like box mode, will 'fragment' the molecule into an interior and exterior region on release of the mouse button.
